Morning Dev Work Paused; Time to Head to The 9-5

Some mornings, the lab work flows effortlessly, and other times, it’s a battle to get everything aligned. This morning was one of those deep-dive sessions—working through automation, refining MariaDB deployment, and ensuring everything runs cleanly within Proxmox.
Progress was made, but we’re not quite there yet. The VM automation is fully functional, bringing up new machines with defined IPs and hostnames. MariaDB installs correctly, binds to the right interfaces, and should, in theory, be ready to accept remote connections. But theory and reality don’t always align, and there are still hurdles to clear before it all comes together.
Now, it’s time to step away from the personal work and into the 9-5. As soon as I’m back, we’ll pick this up again, push forward, and get it working the way it’s supposed to. Stay tuned.
